Honey Soy Garlic Candied Pork Belly Bites with Jasmine Rice & Asian Slaw
Sweet and savory Swift Candied Pork Belly Bites are cooked until caramelized, then tossed in a sticky honey soy garlic glaze and served with steamed jasmine rice and crisp Asian slaw for an easy, flavor-packed dinner.
Cook the pork belly bites. Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Arrange the Swift Candied Pork Belly Bites in a single layer and cook for approximately 15 minutes, rotating halfway through, until caramelized and the internal temperature reaches 200–210°F.
Make the garlic sauce. While the pork belly bites cook, add a small amount of rendered pork fat from the air fryer to a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and cook for 10–15 seconds, stirring constantly so it doesn’t burn.
Add the soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, water or chicken stock, and a splash of rice vinegar.
Simmer the sauce over medium-low heat for 3–5 minutes, or until it begins to reduce and thicken.
Glaze the pork. Add the cooked Candied Pork Belly Bites to the skillet and toss until evenly coated. Continue cooking for 1–2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the bites until glossy and sticky.
Remove from heat once the sauce has reduced to your liking.
Serve the Honey Soy Garlic Candied Pork Belly Bites over steamed jasmine rice with Asian slaw.
