For the seasoning mix:

For the BBQ sauce:

Directions:

  1. Remove the ribs from the packaging and pat them dry. You can remove the membrane from the bone side or leave it on.
  2. Combine the seasoning mix ingredients and season the rack of ribs on all sides. Reserve 1 tbsp of the seasoning for the BBQ sauce.
  3. Heat up the smoker/grill to 250°F, indirect heat, and put on the ribs.
  4. Combine the apple cider vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spritz the ribs every 45 minutes.
  5. While the ribs are cooking, combine the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
  6. When the ribs hit 190-195°F internal temperature (4-5 hours), coat them in the BBQ sauce.
  7. Continue cooking for 15 minutes to allow the sauce to set and thicken up.
  8. Remove the ribs from the grill, rest 10 minutes, slice and enjoy!
