1 package Swift Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Sliders (2, 5 oz sliders)
2 large croissants, sliced in half
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 leaves lettuce
1 tomato, sliced
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sweet relish
2 tbsp butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Make the burger sauce. In a small bowl, stir together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder and relish. Refrigerate until ready to assemble.
Prepare the garlic butter. Combine melted butter, minced garlic and parsley in a small bowl. Set aside.
Caramelize the onions. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and golden brown, about 8–10 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Cook the pub sliders. Heat the same skillet over medium-high heat. Gently press each Swift Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Slider to about ¾-inch thick, taking care to keep the bacon wrapped around the outer edge. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Add the sliders to the hot skillet and cook for 6–8 minutes total, turning as needed so the bacon and patties brown evenly. Cook until the centers reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
Add the cheese. During the final minute of cooking, top each slider with a slice of cheddar. Cover briefly until melted. Remove from the skillet and let rest for 3 minutes.
Toast the croissants. Brush the cut sides of each croissant with garlic butter. Place cut-side down in the skillet and toast until lightly golden and crisp.
Assemble. Spread burger sauce over the bottom croissant halves. Layer with lettuce, tomato, a bacon-wrapped cheesy pub slider and caramelized onions. Add additional burger sauce, if desired, and finish with the top croissant.
