Juicy Swift Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Sliders are pan-seared until the bacon is crisp, then served on toasted slider buns with crisp apple cabbage slaw and tangy mustard for an easy, pub-style take on pork schnitzel sliders.
2 packages Swift Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Sliders
2 cups finely shredded red cabbage
1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey
¼ tsp kosher salt
4 slider buns, split and toasted
Dijon or whole-grain mustard, for serving
Pickles, for serving, optional
Directions:
Make the apple cabbage slaw. Combine the shredded cabbage and sliced apple in a medium bowl. Add the apple cider vinegar, olive oil, honey and salt. Toss until evenly coated and set aside while you prepare the sliders.
Prepare the sliders. Remove the Swift Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Sliders from the packages. No breading or additional seasoning is needed.
Pan-sear. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bacon-wrapped sliders and cook according to package directions, turning as needed, until the bacon is crisp and the centers reach 160°F. Drain excess rendered fat from the skillet as needed.
Rest. Transfer the sliders to a plate and let rest for 3 minutes.
Toast the buns. While the sliders rest, lightly toast the slider buns.
Assemble. Spread Dijon or whole-grain mustard over the buns. Add a Bacon Wrapped Beef & Pork Pub Slider and top with the apple cabbage slaw. Add pickles, if desired, for an extra tangy finish.
